Isla Holbox, Mexico
What island? Yes, it is an island off the Yucatan Peninsula, where Cancun is located. Unlike Cancun, Holbox is much more secluded and peaceful, but it has the same turquoise water and beautiful marine life.
We look forward to one day swimming with the whale sharks that pass between this small island and the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico.
Laguna Beach, California
I’m hesitant to reveal all my secrets about my heavenly hometown, but I can’t resist sharing them with you. The town of Laguna Beach is made up of dozens of cliffside coves, so be prepared to climb and descend some stairs, but the cliffs also make each beach quite secluded.
When you’re not soaking up the waves of the Pacific, enjoy the arts scene and restaurants of quaint downtown Laguna.
Kauai, Hawaii
Kauai reminds me of Neverland. It is a tropical island with heavenly beaches, crystal clear water and mountains covered in tropical forests. The scenery is breathtaking, and there are so many different ways to see it!
Whether you’re spending your time on the sand, kayaking along the Na Pali Coast, or hiking in Waimea Canyon, we promise you’ll see things you’ve never seen before.
The Algarve, Portugal
The beaches of the Algarve are the jewel of Europe when it comes to beaches. The Algarve is less known to non-Europeans, simply because it’s not the French Riviera or Italy, but don’t let that deter you from visiting its clear waters and cliffs of sand.
We recommend going later in the summer months as, although you will face the crowds, the water will be significantly warmer. Our favorite beaches are in Lagos, and we like to look for holes in the cliffs and venture from beach to beach until we find some privacy.
Grace Bay, Turks and Caicos
Grace Bay has been voted the best beach in the world several times, and it’s well deserved! The beach lives up to its name, full of grace and serenity. Its perfectly white sand, its access to the third largest reef in the world and its dolphin JoJo make its beauty unique.

Oludeniz Lagoon, Türkiye
Turkey isn’t the first place that comes to most people’s minds, and that’s exactly why you should go! Türkiye’s beaches are truly one of the hidden gems of the world! The water literally looks like someone threw giant blue ice into the lagoon, minus the ice of course.
It’s so blue!
Although Oludeniz is popular in Turkey, the calm water and the fact that construction is prohibited here ensure that you come away tanned and relaxed.
Rangiroa, French Polynesia
Of course, our list of best beach getaways for couples cannot be complete without a nod to French Polynesia. We can’t help dreaming of all these beautiful islands!
If you’re looking for a remote couple’s getaway, Rangiroa is as private as it gets.
The atoll is circular with a single entrance and a single exit from the lagoon in the center. It’s an amazing formation, surrounded by even more amazing water. It’s a place you and your significant other will never want to leave, if you can handle being away from your phone for so long.
